Founded in 1919, Dover Knights of Columbus Council #1973 has faithfully served the Catholic community of Dover, Ohio for over a century. As part of the global Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization with nearly 2 million members worldwide, we are united by our commitment to faith, family, charity, and community service. Our mission is to embody the core values of the Knights of Columbus, making a positive impact on our community and growing in our faith.

Our members are men of all ages, backgrounds, and professions, united by our shared mission of service. We work closely with St. Joseph Catholic Church and other local organizations to make a meaningful impact throughout the year. Through events, volunteer work, and outreach programs, we provide opportunities for fellowship and growth.
Whether it’s working together to support local charities or organizing community events, our commitment to faith and service is reflected in everything we do.
🏠 Our Facilities
In 2015, we moved into our current home at 346 W 9th Street, and in 2024, we added a new outdoor pavilion to better serve both our members and the community. This expansion allows us to host more events and serve the broader community with a welcoming space for all.
Our council hall is not only the hub for meetings and family activities, but it’s also available for rentals. Whether you’re planning a small gathering or a larger event, our hall offers a flexible venue to meet your needs.

Over the years, Dover Council #1973 has been recognized for its commitment to faith, service, and community leadership.
